Non-surgical procedures to fill, contour, sculpt and smooth out wrinkles.

Anti-wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections, also known as wrinkle relaxers or muscle relaxants, are the most effective treatment for smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Ling uses her signature technique to create a subtle, yet natural-looking result.

By inhibiting signals from the nerves to the muscles, this treatment temporarily relaxes the muscles injected. This keeps them from contracting, thus reducing the look of existing wrinkles while also preventing new wrinkles from forming.

PDO Threads (Rejuvenation Threads)

PDO threads, or Polydioxanone threads, are a type of non-surgical facelift. This process tightens the skin, elevates sagging facial features, and reduces mild to severe skin laxity. Although PDO threads cannot completely replace a surgical facelift, they are an excellent choice for those with mild to moderate skin laxity who want a natural but noticeable result.

PDO Threads FAQS

  • Forehead lines
  • Nose projection and elevation
  • Eyebrow lift
  • Glabellar
  • Preauricular area
  • Nasolabial folds, perioral & marionette line
  • Chin, jawline, jowl lift
  • Necklines
  • And other general skin and laxity lines

Longevity: 12 – 18 months
Time: 30 – 60 minutes
Downtime: 2 – 14 days

Our practitioner will discuss and recommend the type, number, and position of thread placement to achieve your desired results during your consultation. Your quotation will be determined by the size of the area and the number of threads utilised.

Biodegradable sutures are inserted under the skin with the help of fine needles called cannulas. This does not give patients a “pulled” appearance, but rather a natural-looking support.

PDO threads also aid in the development of new collagen in the skin, which improves the skin’s suppleness and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and folds.

Because PDO threads are biodegradable, they will degrade over time in the body. It is broken down into water and carbon dioxide, which the skin absorbs naturally.

The location for the sutures will first be prepped and injected with a local anaesthetic. Threads are gently pulled to raise and smooth the skin after a minor incision is made using a tiny needle. The skin is then massaged and a barrier cream is applied after the sutures are in the proper location.

Patients will experience mild swelling and bruising following the procedure. Mild dimpling of the skin at the entry and exit points is possible, but it will heal after a few days. Following the visit, you will receive detailed aftercare instructions.

Patients frequently see a noticeable lifting and skin tightness within two weeks. After 2 to 3 months, when new collagen stimulation begins, the overall result will be visible, with the thread itself dissolving after 6 months. After the threads dissolve, the collagen stimulation results work to keep the results. The effects usually last 12 to 18 months.

Not everyone is a good candidate for PDO threads. Individuals with excessive sagging of the skin, thin, fragile skin, and smokers are not ideal candidates. Those who require mild to moderate lifting and elevation are the best candidates for thread lifts. Please speak with our registered nurse to determine if this is appropriate for you.
